Vita
– Born in Demmin in 1951. Self-taught artist. 
From 1976, he was in contact with the Dresden artist group “Lücke” led by A. R. Penck. From 1982 to 1989, he was banned from exhibiting his work. In 1993, he co-founded the artist group “Nora.” From 1997 to 2004, Norbert Krabbe lived and worked in Neubrandenburg, and since 2005 he has been based in Koserow/Usedom.
With unwavering consistency, he pursues an artistic approach that rejects classical principles of form and composition, as well as geometric abstraction.
