– Born in Osaka, Japan, in 1937.
Studied at the Municipal High School of Industrial Art. Starting from traditional Japanese painting, his experiments with black and white colors led him to plasticity and surface.
In 1963, he won the Mainichi Art Competition Prize in cooperation with the French government.
