Vita
– Born in Zaragoza in 1920 and died in Toulouse in 2013. Studied at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios in Zaragoza in 1940. Founding member of the Grupo Zaragoza in the 1960s. Santamaria went through phases of figurative, realistic, late impressionist, cubist, and finally abstract art.
