– Long, brass-coated faces meet at the top in a single ridge crowned with colorful pom-poms.
On both sides of the crest, red fabric strips held in place by openwork tin strips cover the helmet.
– Typical of Marka and Bambara sculptures is the noble, straight nose, a small, slightly open mouth,
whose lips protrude beyond the chin.
The Markha are organized into structured, hierarchical mask associations.
