– Born in Montelupo (Italy) in 1911- died in 2003.
Painter, sculptor, but above all, ceramist. During his long career, he created objects that are part of the history of Italian ceramics. At the age of eleven, he began working at the most prestigious factory, F.lli Fanciullacci. For 30 years, he was the artistic director of the “Manifattura Ceramiche Cav. Guido Bitossi & Figli.” With his arrival, the factory underwent a sudden and complete transformation, the production of traditional ceramics was discontinued, and the focus was on objects of high artistic quality that represented a new lifestyle.
