Vita
– Etruscan-inspired, bulbous vessel with a rough, textured surface and graphic decoration.
– Born in Lucca (Italy) in 1937, he lives and works in Solbiate Arn (Varese). As an ideologist of the “Dimensionismo” movement, he was a member of historical groups in Lombardy: “LIBERI ARTISTI DEL VARESOTTO” (LADPDV). He became a student of Silvio Polloni and, from 1953 to 1954, of Pietro Annigoni. After early training in figurative art, he turned to Art Informel and mastered various techniques such as collage and frottage after studying nude painting at the Academy of Florence. His works are housed in Italian and international museums.
